That one time when I tried to download files from my slow uplink
It was when I was either in 9th or 10th. It should've been in 10th, because it was after I'd gotten used to hosting WordPress (wordpress.org) websites with MAMP, and that was after I knew how to host websites directly with Hostinger's 000webhost, x10hosting and other free hosting providers. I used to host forums based on Simple Machines Forum (SMF), to replicate the forums of San Andreas: Multiplayer (SA:MP) and the United Islands Freeroam (UIF) SA:MP server. We had a bustling Facebook community back in the day, for anything from Web Development, General Software Programming, Gaming, Memes, Game Development, 3D Modelling, etc.
So, it was during that time, when I wanted to do a computer exhibition, and I ended up choosing to display how to host a website as my project. For that, I would have to get my tools in my pendrive. The tools were basically WordPress, a good WordPress theme, MAMP and No-IP Dynamic Update Client. I knew how to port forward to enable accessing files from my PC hosted via MAMP.
So I decided to download it on my mobile phone, directly from my PC, because instead of downloading the tools directly from the official websites, I wanted to do it the cool way by downloading it via localhost. The plan was to take away my SD card after downloading it. Come to think of it, I think I was actually attempting to download it from a high speed internet cafe (Akshaya Center, Kazhakootam) with a bandwidth of 900 Mbps. But I couldn't get it to download, and that's the fun part.
So basically I was on my routine monthly appointments to my dentist, during which my dad would take me on the dental outpass, and after my visit, I would spend the available time in the Akshaya Center doing my stuff, before I had to return, which is by 8:30 PM, for mess dinner. And this specific day was before the school expo, which I planned to take part in.
