Everything is Communications

 #Draft

Just about everything is communications. In engineering, what we do is describe a system using language, and implement it. Passionate engineers have a tendency to overengineer their projects, and for the same reason they tend to overcommunicate.

Radio signals are also mostly used for communications, even though we ourselves are made of the very electromagnetic fields that are used to send radiations. In a way, we are all always connected and communicating with one another, just ever so subtly. That isn't actually very deep, as moving the electromagnetic field is not much different from moving our hands to establish contact. It's just that we are not used to thinking of the electromagnetic fields as part of our own bodies.

Not finding the right balance in communicating is bad, both with people and in engineering.

I am bad at communicating. Does that mean I'm bad at everything?
